Applications are now invited to the post of IMPACT Deputy Medical Director. The BSBMT CTC will lead the recruitment process, and will make a recommendation to the IMPACT Oversight Committee (including representatives of funders) based on the successful candidate’s experience and record of trial delivery.

This post is key to the success of IMPACT by working closely with the Medical Director to drive the initiative. The Deputy Medical Director will support the IMPACT Medical Director and IMPACT Hub Lead in the review, development and delivery of new clinical trials for inclusion within the IMPACT clinical trials portfolio. They will make an active contribution at biannual IMPACT-BSBMT meetings and support the MD and Hub Lead in liaising with Chief and/or Principal Investigators as required. The appointment will be for a 2 year term of office (until the end of the IMPACT pilot phase 31-Dec-2020), and will attract an annual stipend of £5,000. Travel expenses to IMPACT meetings will be covered. Transplant Clinicians of all seniorities are encouraged to apply.
